Yoga for Bendy Bodies 6-Week Series

Join Dr. Libby Hinsley, author of "Yoga for Bendy People" and hypermobility expert, for a 6-week yoga series designed specifically for those with joint hypermobility or connective tissue disorders. Whether you're a seasoned yoga practitioner or new to the practice, this series will empower you to build strength, stability, and body awareness while honoring your unique makeup as a bendy person.

In this supportive and inclusive environment, you'll learn:

  • Safe and effective modifications: Discover how to adapt traditional yoga poses to protect your joints and prevent injury.
  • Strength-building techniques: Cultivate a strong and stable foundation to support the needs of your unique hypermobile body.
  • Proprioception exercises: Enhance your body awareness and coordination to move with greater control and precision.
  • Breathwork and mindfulness: Tap into the calming and centering power of yoga to reduce stress and improve overall well-being.

This series is perfect for individuals with hypermobility syndromes (such as Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome), as well as anyone who identifies as "bendy" and wants to optimize their yoga practice. No prior yoga experience is necessary and the classes will be POTS-friendly.
